What this website collects, why, and the choices you have about it.

Who we are

This website is operated by Business Data Protection and Recovery Limited (RC 474662), trading as BDPR Technologies. We are the data controller for personal data collected through it.

We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, which now sits above the earlier NDPR regulation.

What we collect

When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address and message, and, if you choose to give them, your company name, phone number and area of interest. We use these only to reply to your enquiry and to follow up on it.

Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep the site secure and working. The contact form is also protected by an automated check that tells people from bots, which runs in your browser when you submit it.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read and how people arrive. It sets cookies, so it loads only if you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, or don’t answer, it never loads.

Your choice is remembered in a single cookie for six months, so we don’t ask on every visit. You can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page; withdrawing consent removes the analytics cookies we can reach.

Who we share it with

Enquiries are delivered to our inbox by an email delivery service acting on our behalf. Analytics data, if you consent, is processed by Google. The site is hosted by Vercel. Some of these providers process data outside Nigeria, under safeguards the NDPA requires. We don’t sell personal data or share it for anyone else’s marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any relationship that follows, and then delete them.

Your rights

Under the NDPA you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent, and receive a copy in a portable form. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
